How does the 100 Club work?
How much does it cost?
-
Each draw number costs £5 per month (£60 per year).
-
You can hold more than one draw number. For example, two numbers cost £10 per month and five numbers
-
cost £25 per month.
-
You do not need to be a member of Beverley Civic Society to join the 100 Club.

-
Participants must be aged 16 or over and resident in Great Britain (England, Scotland or Wales).
-
Businesses and organisations can also participate.
Where does my money go?
-
Approximately 50% of all 100 Club income is allocated to prizes, with approximately 50% going directly to Beverley Civic Society to support its work.
-
The 100 Club is intended to provide a dependable additional source of income for the Society, helping us preserve and enhance Beverley and support worthwhile projects and initiatives.
When are the draws?
-
There are 12 draws each year - ten ordinary monthly draws and two larger Star Draws, planned for June and December.
-
Draws are physical and conducted publicly. They will normally take place at a Beverley Civic Society monthly members' meeting. Where there is no monthly meeting, or circumstances require, the draw will take place at another publicly announced time and venue.
-
The first Star Draw will take place in June 2027.
What can I win?
-
Draws take place regardless of the number of participating draw numbers, with prize amounts reflecting the
size of the 100 Club. -
At 100 paid draw numbers, an ordinary draw pays:
-
£60 - £40 - £20
-
-
Star Draw pays:
-
£500 - £250 - £150
-
-
As the 100 Club grows, prize values and/or the number of prizes may increase, while maintaining the overall 50/50 split between prizes and funds for Beverley Civic Society.
How do I qualify for each draw?
-
To be included in a monthly draw, your payment must have reached the 100 Club bank account by the last calendar day of the preceding month.
-
We recommend setting your monthly Standing Order for the 25th of each month, providing a few days for the payment to reach us before the cut-off.
-
If a payment is not received by the deadline, your number simply misses the following draw. There are n arrears to pay. If payments resume, your number becomes eligible again for the next qualifying draw.
How will I know if I win?
-
Winners will be contacted directly.
-
Results will also be published in the Beverley Civic Society monthly newsletter and on this 100 Club webpage.
-
For individual winners, we will normally publish only the winner's first initial and surname, winning draw number and prize.
-
For a business or organisation, we may publish the business or organisation name, winning draw number and prize.

Prizes are paid by bank transfer. We will ask winners for the necessary bank details after they have won; we do not require your bank account details when you join.
Do I have to attend the draw?
-
No. You do not need to be present to win.
What if I want to stop?
-
Simply cancel your Standing Order. You do not need to give formal notice, although you are welcome to let us know.
-
If no payment is received for three consecutive months, your draw number may be reallocated.
